Why this site exists

Power of sale homes are listed on REALTOR.ca like any other home, but they are hard to find as a group, and the rules behind them are rarely explained. Buyers end up guessing at what “as is, where is” means, or what a lender's schedule is doing to their offer.

We built this site to fix both. Power of sale listings from the REALTOR.ca data feed sit in one place, updated nightly, next to a plain guide to how buying one actually works.

How we work with power of sale buyers

• We read the file first. Before you book a showing, we look at the listing history and what the lender's terms are likely to ask of you.
• We tell you what we see, plainly. Including when a home is not a fit.
• We carry the paperwork. From the offer and the lender's schedule through to closing, working alongside your lawyer.
