Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Kai Min, Royal LePage Meadowtowne Realty. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use it and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you ask a question: your name, the email or phone number you give us, your message, and which listing you asked about.
• When you create an account: your email address, and your name if you give it.
• When you use your account: the searches and listings you save, and your alert settings.
• If you sign up for our newsletter: a record that you agreed, when, the wording you agreed to, and the IP address and browser you used.
• Email records: for each email we send, who it went to, the subject, when, and whether our email service accepted it.
• A sign-in cookie: when you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Basic technical data: like any website, our server sees your IP address and browser type. We use it to keep the site secure (for example, to stop repeated sign-in attempts).

Why we collect it

• To answer your questions and help you with a property.
• To sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email.
• To send the listing alerts and updates you asked for.
• To send our newsletter, only if you opted in.

Who handles it

• Resend sends our emails (sign-in codes and alerts).
• Mittero is the client management system Kai Min uses to keep track of your questions and account.
• Our web host stores the site and its database.
• REALTOR.ca and OpenStreetMap: listing photos and map tiles load from their servers, so they see your IP address when your browser fetches them, like any website would.

We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed to help you. To delete it, email us (see below); we remove it by hand, unless the law requires us to keep a record, such as proof that you agreed to receive emails.

Emails, consent and unsubscribing

We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We only send alerts you set up, and the newsletter only if you ticked the box to agree. Every alert and newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change your alert settings any time on your account page.
